1. Places where Christ prays

a. Christ went to mountain alone to pray

And it came to pass about eight days after these words, Jesus took Simon, and James and John, and went up into a mountain to pray.

a. After doing his work until night

And when he had dismissed the people, he went up to the mountain alone to pray; and when darkness fell he was still there alone.

Christ prayed all night praying and up to dawn or three o’clock in the morning

It happened in those days, Jesus went out to a mountain to pray, and he remained all night in prayer to God.

42 He went away again the second time and prayed and said, O my Father, if this cup cannot pass, and if I have to drink it, let it be according to your will.
43 He came again and found them sleeping, for their eyes were heavy.
44 And he left them and went away again and prayed the third time, and he said the same word.
45 Then he came to his disciples and said to them, Sleep from now on and get your rest; behold, the hour has come, and the Son of man will be delivered into the hands of sinners.
46 Arise, let us go; behold, he who is to deliver me has arrived.”

3. Manner

a. Christ prayed with cries and tears

Even when he was clothed in the flesh, he offered prayers and supplications, with vehement cries and tears, to him who was able to save him from death; and verily he was heard.

b. face on the ground

And he went a little further and fell on his face, and prayed saying, O my Father, if it be possible, let this cup pass from me; but let it be, not as I will, but as you.
Matthew 26:39, LBP

And he went a little aside, and fell on the ground, and prayed, that if it were possible, the hour might pass away from him.
