A . 4 Ophanim (Rolling Wheels)

Ophanims are called rolling wheels

And as for the wheels, he called them Rolling Wheels, in my presence.

As for the wheels 212, it was cried  unto them in my hearing, O wheel 1534.(it was…: or, they were called in my hearing, wheel, or, galgal

H212 – o-fawn’

In Strong’s Concordance wheels is referenced as H212, and the Word used for it OTE@ pronounced as o-fawn’ (shortened as pophan) (it is  from an unused root meaning to revolve; a wheel:–wheel.) In Greek Strong it is coded as  G5164 which means 1) wheel ((((((1a) chariot wheel, 1b) wheel in Ezekiel’s vision, 1c) wheels of the ten bases beneath the lavers in Solomon’s temple))))

H1534 – gal-gal’

Another meaning of wheel in Strong’s concordance is  H1534 or LBLB pronounced as gal-gal. It means a wheel (by analogy, a whirlwind; also dust (as whirled):–heaven, rolling thing, wheel. H1556).  In Grk Strong Concordance, its code is G5164 which means 1) wheel, whirl, whirlwind, whirling

B. Ophanim and the Cherubims

Ophanims and the living creature or cherubims

In Ezekiel 1 were going to see that Ophanims are with living creatures, but we’ll discover in Ezekiel 10 that instead of using living creatures the word cherubs has been used, and described to be with the ophanims.

And their whole body and their backs and their hands and their wings and the wheels were full of eyes when they turned on their sides.

a. One ophanim per living creature

Now as I beheld the living creatures, behold wheels were upon the earth by the side of each of the four living creatures.

b. Placed under the cherub or beside it

c. Moves simultaneously in the same direction

When the living creature/ cherubims walks, the wheels are moving beside them, and when they goes up, the ophanims also goes up.

“And when the cherubim went, the wheels also went beside them; and when the cherubim lifted up their wings to mount up from the earth, the wheels also turned not from beside them.

d. Ophanim does what the living creature does, whether it walks, stops or stands from the ground.

e. The spirit of the living creature is in the Ophanim

₂₀”Wheresoever the spirit was to go, they went, and the wheels were lifted up with them; for there was a living spirit in the wheels.
₂₁ When the living creatures went, the wheels went; and when the creatures stood, they stood also; and when they were lifted up from the earth, the wheels were lifted up with them; for there was a living spirit in the wheels.

1. Like illuminating beryl

The appearance of the wheels and their work was like the colour of a beryl; and they four had the one likeness; and their appearance and their work was as it were a wheel within a wheel.”

1. Walks in any four direction

2. Moves or walks without looking

E. Parts of Ophanim

1. They have rims that are tall and scary to look at.

Their  rims are big, Ezekiel can even go inside of it.

3. There’s a fire between ophanims

just a reminder though that the bible did not say that there’s an eye at the center of it’s rim. It stated that there’s spirit. Fires are also linked to ophanims.)
