Heb Strong: H2022 – Armageddon = “the hill or city of Megiddo”. 1) In Re 16:16 the scene of a the struggle of good and evil is suggested by that battle plain of Esdraelon, which was famous for two great victories, of Barak over the Canaanites, and of Gideon over the Midianites; and for two great disasters, the deaths of Saul and Josiah. just a reminder though that the bible did not say that there’s an eye at the center of it’s rim. It stated that there’s spirit. Fires are also linked to ophanims.)

Where is Paradise?

In the Book of Genesis, the Paradise was not mentioned, though the Garden of Eden was described as if it was a paradise where food, and plants are abundant. A place where life seemed comfortable.

I. Garden in the East of Eden

Location:

The Garden was placed in the east of Eden.

Eden was being watered by a river that flows to four heads:

  • Pishon river – encircles the whole land of Havilah, where there is gold that’s good, beryllium and onyx stone.
  • Gihon river – encircles the whole land of Ethiopia.
  • Deklat (Tigris) river– flows east of Assyria
  • Euphrates river

Genesis 2:8,10-14, LBP (Lamsa)
₈ And the LORD God planted a garden eastward in Eden; and there he put the man whom he had formed.
₁₀  And a river flowed out of Eden to water the garden; and from thence it divided and became into four heads.
₁₁ The name of the first is Pishon; it is the one which encircles the whole land of Havilah, where there is gold;
₁₂  And the gold of that land is good; there is also beryllium and the onyx stone.
₁₃  And the name of the second river is Gihon, the one which encircles the whole land of Ethiopia.
₁₄  And the name of the third river is Deklat (Tigris); it is the one which flows east of Assyria. And the fourth river is the Euphrates.

Because of the geographical location mentioned here, we could conclude that the paradise in the Garden of Eden is located somewhere in the Earth. However, it could be difficult or almost impossible to find them especially if the maps that we have aren’t accurate or the places we know now is no longer they were originally called. Moreover, after the encounter of Satan and Eve on the Garden it has been protected to protect the tree of life, which makes it inaccessible.

What’s in the Garden?

1. Trees in the garden

The garden has a lot of trees.

Kind of trees in the garden
  1. tress pleasant to see and good for food and may freely eat
  2. tree of life -located in the middle of the garden
  3. tree of the knowledge of good and evil – prohibited to be eat for those who consume it will die

Genesis 2:9, 16-17, LBP Lamsa
₉ And out of the ground the LORD God made to grow every tree that is pleasant to the sight and good for food; the tree of life also in the midst of the garden, and the tree of the knowledge of good and evil.
₁₆ And the LORD God commanded the man, saying, Of every tree of the garden you may freely eat;
₁₇ But of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, you shall not eat; for in the day that you eat of it you shall surely die.

2. Adam and Eve

God placed Adam in the Garden of Eden

Genesis 2:8, 15 – LBP
₈ And the LORD God planted a garden eastward in Eden; and there he put the man whom he had formed.
₁₅ And the LORD God took the man, and put him in the garden of Eden to till it and to keep it.

3. Serpent is in the garden

Even and the serpent had spoken in the garden, when the serpent was luring Eve to eat it

Genesis 3:1-24, LBP – Lamsa
“₁Now the serpent was more subtle than all the wild beasts that the LORD God had made. And the serpent said to the woman, Truly has God said that you shall not eat of any tree of the garden?
₂ And the woman said to the serpent, We may eat of the fruit of all the trees of the garden;
₃ But of the fruit of the tree which is in the midst of the garden, God has said, You shall not eat of it, neither shall you touch it, lest you die.
₄ And the serpent said to the woman, You shall not surely die;
₅ For God knows that in the day you eat of it, your eyes shall be opened, and you shall be like gods, knowing good and evil.
₆ So when the woman saw that the tree was good for food, and that it was pleasant to the eyes, and that the tree was delightful to look at, she took of the fruit thereof, and did eat, and she also gave to her husband with her; and he did eat.
₇ Then the eyes of them both were opened, and they knew that they were naked; and they sewed fig leaves together, and made themselves aprons.”

What happened to Garden of Eden

Tree of life is guarded by a cherubim and a flaming sword. So Adam and descendants can’t go in there

Genesis 3:24, LBP – Lamsa
₂₃ Therefore the LORD God sent him forth from the garden of Eden, to till the ground from whence he was taken.
₂₄ So the LORD God drove out the man; and he placed at the east of the garden of Eden Cherubim, and a flaming sword which turned every way, to guard the path to the tree of life.

II. Where Can We See the Garden of Eden? Is Garden of Eden the Paradise?

To have a clue where the garden of Eden is, we could look where we could find what’s unique and most important in the Garden of Eden – and that is, the tree of lIfe. In the Book of Revelation, the tree of life has been mentioned again along with the river. It states in Revelation 2:7 that the tree of life is located in the midst of the paradise of God which seems to suggest that the paradise of God is the Garden of Eden, because the tree of life located at the Garden of Eden, or if it’s not particularly the Garden of Eden, then probably, the paradise is Eden. If we go back to Genesis, the Garden of Eden is just located at the eastward of Eden.

₉ And out of the ground the LORD God made to grow every tree that is pleasant to the sight and good for food; the tree of life also in the midst of the garden, and the tree of the knowledge of good and evil.

Revelation 2:7, Lamsa
“7He who has ears, let him hear what the Spirit says unto the churches: To him who overcomes, I will give to eat of the tree of life, which is in the midst of the paradise of my God.

Revelation 22:14, 18-19, Lamsa
14 Blessed are those who do his commandments, that they may have the right to the tree of life, and may enter in through the gates into the city.
18 I testify to every man who hears the words of the prophecy of this book, If any man shall add to these things, God shall add to him the plagues that are written in this book:
19 And if any man shall take away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God shall take away his portion from the tree of life, and from the holy city, and from the things which are written in this book.

Revelation 22:2, Lamsa
“2 In the midst of the great street of the city, and on either side of the river, was the tree of life, which bore twelve kind of fruits, and each month it yielded one of its fruits; and the leaves of the trees were for the healing of the people.”

III. Christ mentioned the Paradise as a place He would go to

Christ himself mentioned about the paradise before he died and said it to the person crucified next to him.

Luke 23:39, 40-43 Lamsa
“39 Now one of the malefactors who were crucified with him, blasphemed against him, saying, If you are the Christ, save yourself and save us also.
40 But the other rebuked him, and said to him, Do you not fear even God, for you are also in the same judgment?
41 And ours is just, for we are paid as we deserve and as we have done; but he has done nothing wrong.
42 And he said to Jesus, Remember me, my Lord, when you come in your kingdom. 43Jesus said to him, Truly I say to you today, you will be with me in Paradise.

IV. Paradise in the Third Heaven

Paradise is in in third heaven or paradise is the third heaven, and the body, and according to Paul it’s indescribable whether the person he saw there was in the body or without the body.

2 Corinthians 12:1-4, LBP
“₁ Boasting is proper, but there is no advantage in it, and I prefer to relate the visions and revelations of our LORD.
₂  I knew a man in Christ more than fourteen years ago, but whether I knew him in the body or without the body, I do not know: God knows; this very one was caught up to the third heaven.
₃  And I still know this man, but whether in the body or whether without the body, I cannot tell; God knows;
₄ How that he was caught up to paradise, and heard unspeakable words, which it is not lawful for a man to utter.”

Heaven Strongs’ Number is G3772 which refers to ouranoj, pronounced as “oo-ran-os’:. It is said to be similar to 3735 because of the elevation idea; the sky; by extension, heaven (as the abode of God); by implication, happiness, power, eternity; specially, the Gospel (Christianity):–air, heaven(-ly), sky. In Hebrew Strong: H410 H776 H4791 H7549 H7834 H8064, it means   the region above the sidereal heavens, the seat of order of things eternal and consummately perfect where God dwells and other heavenly beings. Also, it refers to the vaulted expanse of the sky with all things visible in it that is (1) the universe, the world, (2) the aerial heavens or sky, the region where the clouds and the tempests gather, and where thunder and lightning are produced, (3) the sidereal or starry heavens.

Paradise Strongs’ Number: G3857 which refers to paradeisoj pronounced as “par-ad’-i-sos’:. It is of Oriental origin (compare 6508); which means a park, that is (specially), an Eden (place of future happiness, “paradise”):–paradise. H6508. In Hebrew Strong: H1588 H5731 H6508. It means (1) heaven, (2) the upper regions of the heavens. According to the early church Fathers, the paradise in which our first parents dwelt before the fall still exists, neither on the earth or in the heavens, but above and beyond the world (3)  the part of Hades which was thought by the later Jews to be the abode of the souls of pious until the resurrection: but some understand this to be a heavenly paradise (4)  among the Persians a grand enclosure or preserve, hunting ground, park, shady and well-watered, in which wild animals, were kept for the hunt; it was enclosed by walls and furnished with towers for the hunters. (5) a garden, pleasure ground – grove, park

References:

The book of Genesis described the garden of Eden as if it was a paradise. Christ himself mentioned about the paradise before he died and said it to the person crucified next to him. In The book of Revelation paradise is still mentioned. From the beginning, at the middle and in the end of the bible, paradise was mentioned, hence it means that there is indeed a paradise that we haven’t seen yet. But is the bible talking about one paradise only? We’re not quite sure and so we just listed below how the paradise/s in the bible are described. Though we itemize the paradise/s mentioned in the bible here, we are not suggesting they are different or the same. We merely presenting how they were described in the bible. Should we gain more wisdom about paradise, we will update this post.

Evil and Satan Causes Illnesses and Prevents Healing

Healing Recommendation

Proverbs 3:7-8, Lamsa
“₇ Be not wise in your own eyes; revere the LORD, and depart from evil.
It shall be healing to your flesh and marrow to your bones.”

Paul’s illness was a caused by Satan

2 Corinthians 12:1-10, Lamsa
₇ And lest I should be exalted through the abundance of the revelations, there was delivered to me a thorn in my flesh, the angel of Satan to buffet me, lest I should be exalted.
₈ Three times I besought my LORD concerning this thing, that it might depart from me.
₉ And he said to me, My grace is sufficient for you: for my strength is made perfect in weakness. Most gladly therefore I would rather boast in my infirmities that the power of Christ may rest upon me.
₁₀ Therefore I am content with infirmities, insults, hardships, persecutions, and imprisonments for Christ’s sake: for when I am physically weak, then I am mentally strong
.”

Job’s boils was caused by Satan

Job 2:4-5,7-8, Lamsa
4 And Satan answered the LORD, and said, Skin for skin, yea, all that a man has will he give for his life, to save it.
5 But put forth thy hand now, and touch his flesh or his bone, and he will curse thee to thy face.
7 So Satan went forth from the presence of the LORD, and smote Job with cancer from the sole of his foot to his brain.
8 And he took a potsherd to scrape himself with it; and he sat down upon ashes.

Job 2:7, NKJV
“7 So Satan went out from the presence of the Lord, and struck Job with painful boils from the sole of his foot to the crown of his head.

Job 2:7, NLT
“7 So Satan left the Lord’s presence, and he struck Job with terrible boils from head to foot.”

God is in control

God may allow Satan to hurt His servants knowing that he has better plans for us and He is in control. He also allows it to test his servant’s faithfulness to Him.

Proverbs 3:7-8, Lamsa
“₇ Be not wise in your own eyes; revere the LORD, and depart from evil.
It shall be healing to your flesh and marrow to your bones.”

Paul’s confidence is in Christ despite of his illness

₉ And he said to me, My grace is sufficient for you: for my strength is made perfect in weakness. Most gladly therefore I would rather boast in my infirmities that the power of Christ may rest upon me.
₁₀ Therefore I am content with infirmities, insults, hardships, persecutions, and imprisonments for Christ’s sake: for when I am physically weak, then I am mentally strong'”

God’s confidence in Job verse

Job 2:3,6, Lamsa
“3 And the LORD said to Satan, Have you considered my servant Job, that there is none like him in the earth, an innocent and upright man, one who reveres God, and turns away from evil? He still holds fast to his integrity, although you provoked me against him, to destroy him without cause.
6 And the LORD said to Satan, Behold, he is delivered into your hands; only spare his life.

Tree of Life

We’d like to emphasize that we don’t malign King James Version. We just aim to as much as possible be able to accurately present what’s written in the bible. That’s why we continuously study and edit our posts whenever we find something that must be corrected.

V. Effect of consuming tree of life

1. Live forever (Genesis)

Genesis 3:22 – LBP (Lamsa)
₂₂ Then the LORD God said, Behold, the man has become like one of us, to know good and evil; and now, lest he put forth his hand, and take also of the tree of life, and eat, and live forever;

2. Healing (Revelation)

Revelation 22:2, Lamsa
“2 In the midst of the great street of the city, and on either side of the river, was the tree of life, which bore twelve kind of fruits, and each month it yielded one of its fruits; and the leaves of the trees were for the healing of the people.”

VI. What does Tree of life represents in Proverbs?

1. Wisdom

Proverbs 3:13-20, LBP (Lamsa)
₁₃ Blessed is the man who finds wisdom, and the son of the man who finds understanding.
₁₄ For the merchandise of it is better than the merchandise of silver, and its gains than fine gold.
₁₅ She is more valuable than precious stones; and there is nothing to be compared to her.
₁₆ Length of days is in her right hand; and in her left hand riches and honor.
₁₇ Her ways are ways of pleasantness, and all her paths are peace.
₁₈ She is a tree of life to those who lay hold of her; and blessed are those who wait for her.

2. Fruit of the righteous

Proverbs 11:30, LBP (Lamsa)
₃₀ The fruit of the righteous is a tree of life; but the souls of the wicked shall be driven out.

Proverbs 11:30 New Living Translation
30 The seeds of good deeds become a tree of life; a wise person wins friends.

Proverbs 11:30 New American Standard Bible
30 The fruit of the righteous is a tree of life, And one who is wise [a]gains souls.

3. Wholesome tongue

Proverbs 15:3-4 LBP (Lamsa)
₃ The eyes of the LORD are in every place, beholding the good men and the bad.
₄ A wholesome tongue is a tree of life, and he who eats of its fruit shall be filled with it.

Proverbs 15:4, New Living Translation
4 Gentle words are a tree of life; a deceitful tongue crushes the spirit.

Does God hear you?

Yes the Lord hears, always…

1 Behold, the LORD’s hand is not shortened, that it cannot save; neither his ear heavy, that it cannot hear:” Isaiah 59:1

But there are people that he chose not to hear. Who are they?

The sinners.

31 Now we know that God heareth not sinners: but if any man be a worshiper of God, and doeth his will, him he heareth.” – John 9:31

Sinners who blatantly choose to keep on sinning are the ones that God choose not to hear, BUT if they change their heart and opt to worship and follow God, he hears them.

God hears the righteous

15 The eyes of the LORD are upon the righteous, and his ears are open unto their cry.” – Psalms 34:15

Recorded in the Book of remembrance

God always hear us and whatever he hears from us is recorded on the book of remembrance

13 Your words have been stout against me, saith the LORD. Yet ye say, What have we spoken so much against thee?
14 Ye have said, It is vain to serve God: and what profit is it that we have kept his ordinance, and that we have walked mournfully before the LORD of hosts?
15 And now we call the proud happy; yea, they that work wickedness are set up; yea, they that tempt God are even delivered.
16 Then they that feared the LORD spoke often one to another: and the LORD hearkened, and heard it, and a book of remembrance was written before him for them that feared the LORD, and that thought upon his name.
17 And they shall be mine, saith the LORD of hosts, in that day when I make up my jewels; and I will spare them, as a man spareth his own son that serveth him.
18 Then shall ye return, and discern between the righteous and the wicked, between him that serveth God and him that serveth him not.”
– Malachi 3:13-18

1. God hears our complaints

1 And when the people complained, it displeased the LORD: and the LORD heard it; and his anger was kindled; and the fire of the LORD burnt among them, and consumed them that were in the uttermost parts of the camp.
2 And the people cried unto Moses; and when Moses prayed unto the LORD, the fire was quenched.
3 And he called the name of the place Taberah: because the fire of the LORD burnt among them.”
– Numbers 11:1-3

2. God hears our groaning

32 Saying, I am the God of thy fathers, the God of Abraham, and the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob. Then Moses trembled, and durst not behold.
33 Then said the Lord to him, Put off thy shoes from thy feet: for the place where thou standest is holy ground.
34 I have seen, I have seen the affliction of my people which is in Egypt, and I have heard their groaning, and am come down to deliver them. And now come, I will send thee into Egypt.”
– Acts 7:32-34

3. God hears the cries of those who were taken advantaged of

Behold, the wage of the labourers, who have reaped down your fields, that which you have fraudulently kept back, cries: and the cry of the reapers has already entered into the ears of the LORD of sabaoth.”
– James 5:4

The right attitude: Confidence that God hears you

8 Depart from me, all ye workers of iniquity; for the LORD hath heard the voice of my weeping.
9 The LORD hath heard my supplication; the LORD will receive my prayer.”
– Psalms 6:8-9

God hears us so He knows if we doubt what he can do

23 And the LORD said unto Moses, Is the LORD’s hand waxed short? thou shalt see now whether my word shall come to pass unto thee or not.” – Numbers 11:23

God is calling us

12 Then shall ye call upon me, and ye shall go and pray unto me, and I will hearken unto you.
13 And ye shall seek me, and find me, when ye shall search for me with all your heart.
14 And I will be found of you, saith the LORD: and I will turn away your captivity, and I will gather you from all the nations, and from all the places whither I have driven you, saith the LORD; and I will bring you again into the place whence I caused you to be carried away captive.”
– Jeremiah 29:12-14

What Happens to Our Prayers After Praying?

God hears and remembers our prayers, and though it seems that He is not listening and our prayers won’t happen, the bible shows us that they do. But we have to understand that its fulfillment will happen according to God’s timing not ours.

Prayers fulfilled at present

Our prayers are heard by God and God instruct angels to fulfill our prayers according to the timeline that it must be happen. Some prayers are done at present (David, Moses, Elijah, miracles) and some are given after a long time.

  • Elijah Prays for Rain – 1 Kings 18:41-19:8
  • Moses prayed for Mirriam’s healing from leprosy – Numbers 12:1-15 (Quick response from God, and He gave instructions on how Mirriam will be healed)

Prayers that will be fulfilled after some time

Read the narratives about Daniel (Daniel 10:12-13), Simon (Luke 2:25-37) and other books of the Bible where angels of God showed to servants of God to fulfill their prayers.

Moses led the Israelites to reach the promised land, and prayed for their journey and the people. But Moses died without seeing promised land. Does this mean God did not fulfill Moses prayers? No. The Israelites reached the promised land under the guidance of Moses’s successor – Joshua. (Joshua 13-22)1 This means that God fulfilled Moses’ prayers, it’s just that Moses did not see it in his time on Earth.

1. Daniel

Daniel 10:12-13, NKJV
12 Then he said to me. Fear not, Daniel; for from the first day that you did set your heart to comprehend so that you might stand before your God, your words have been heard, and I have come in response to your words.
13 The ruler of the kingdom of Persia withstood me twenty-one days; but lo, Michael, one of the chief princes, came to help me; and I remained there against the wishes of the ruler of Persia.

2. Simon

Luke 2:25-35, Lamsa
25 Now there was a man in Jerusalem, whose name was Simon; and this man was pious and righteous, waiting for the consolation of Israel; and the Holy Spirit was upon him.
26 And it was said to him by the Holy Spirit, that he would not see death, until he sees the Anointed of the Lord.
27 This man was led by the Spirit to the temple; and when the parents brought in the boy Jesus, to do for him according to what is commanded in the law,
28 He received him in his arms, and blessed God, and said,
29 Now dismiss thy servant, O my Lord, in peace, according to your word;
30 For behold, mine eyes have already seen your mercies,

31Which you have prepared before the face of all peoples,
32A light for a revelation to the Gentiles, and a glory to your people Israel.
33And Joseph and his mother marvelled about these things which were spoken concerning him. 34 And Simon blessed them, and he said to Mary, his mother, Behold, this one is appointed for the fall and for the rise of many in Israel, and for a sign of dispute;
35 And a sword will pierce through your own soul; so that the thoughts of the hearts of many may be revealed.

3. Prophets and servants of God accoding to Paul

Hebrews 11:13, Lamsa
“13 These all died in faith not having received the promised land, but they saw it from afar off, and rejoiced in it; and they acknowledged that they were strangers and pilgrims on earth.”

Prayers that will be fulfilled even after we die and will happen before judgement day

Some of our prayers will happen after we die and in the future – particularly the time where the events in the book of revelation will take place.

What happens to our prayers?

Our prayers become incense’s smoke.

Revelation 8:3-5, Lamsa
4 And the smoke of the incense which came with the prayers of the saints, ascended up before God out of the angel’s hand.

Revelation 5:7-10, Lamsa
8 And as he took the book, the four wild beasts and the four and twenty elders fell down before the Lamb, and everyone of them had a harp and a cup of gold full of incense, and these were the prayers of the saints.

Where do our prayers go to?

Our prayers are stored upon the golden altar which is located before the throne of God.

Revelation 8:3-5, Lamsa
3 And another angel came and stood at the altar, and he had a golden censer; and abundant incense was given to him, that he might offer it with the prayers of all saints upon the golden altar which was before the throne.

Are they remembered by God after we pray them?

A. Handled by the four wild beasts and twenty-four elder – Before the seals will be opened

Yes, in the book of Revelation it stated that there’s is place for our prayers and they are being included for worship by the four wild beasts and twenty-four elders as they sing praises to open the seals. These seals are the events that will happen during the tribulation towards the second coming of Christ.

Revelation 5:7-10, Lamsa
“7 And he came and took the book from the right hand of him who sat upon the throne.
8 And as he took the book, the four wild beasts and the four and twenty elders fell down before the Lamb, and everyone of them had a harp and a cup of gold full of incense, and these were the prayers of the saints.
9 And they sang new praise saying. You are worthy to take the book, and to open the seals thereof; for you were slain, and have redeemed us to God by your blood, out of every tribe, and tongue, and people, and nation;
10 And have made them to our God kings and priests: and they shall reign on the earth.”

B. Handled by angels – Before the 7 trumpets and 3 woes

The angels manage the prayers so it can ascend to God, and before the 7 trumpets and 3 woes happen a time where there will be a series of suffering and chaos on earth.

Revelation 8:3-5, Lamsa
“3 And another angel came and stood at the altar, and he had a golden censer; and abundant incense was given to him, that he might offer it with the prayers of all saints upon the golden altar which was before the throne.
4 And the smoke of the incense which came with the prayers of the saints, ascended up before God out of the angel’s hand.
5 And the angel took the censer, and filled it with fire of the altar, and cast it upon the earth: and there were voices and thunderings and lightnings, and an earthquake.”

Future of Saints

Are you qualified to enjoy the saint’s future and enter heaven?…

Does claiming to be a Christian makes you qualified to enjoy the saint’s future and enter the kingdom of heaven?

Situation: Have you seen someone doing these religious actions?…

  • calling the name of Christ as their Lord
  • prophesying in Jesus’s name
  • casting out devils
  • doing wonders in Jesus’s name

Problem: According to Christ, you can do, all those things above but still don’t know you. (Matthew 7:23)

Matthew 7:21-23, Lamsa
21 It is not everyone who merely says to me, My Lord, my Lord, will enter into the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of my Father in heaven.
22 A great many will say to me in that day, My Lord, my Lord, did we not prophesy in your name, and in your name cast out devils, and in your name do many wonders?
23 Then I will declare to them, I have never known you; keep away from me, O you that work iniquity.

Matthew 7:21-23, KJV
21 Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven.
22 Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works?
23 And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.

Solution: Do the will of God the Father in heaven. That’s what Christ said. (Matthew 7:21)

Matthew 7:21, Lamsa
21 It is not everyone who merely says to me, My Lord, my Lord, will enter into the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of my Father in heaven.

How to follow God the Father’s will?

Follow Christ commands

Christ did not speak of himself but of the Father (John 12:49-50) and the one who believes in Him believes in the Father. (John 12:44-49, John 14:24) and anyone who obeys and loves Christ will be loved by the Father (John 14:21, 23)

John 12:44, 49-50, Lamsa
44 Jesus cried out and said, He who believes in me, believes not in me but in him who sent me.
49 For I did not speak of myself; but the Father who sent me, he commanded me what to say and what to speak.
50 And I know that his commandment is life everlasting; these things therefore which I speak, just as my Father told me, so I speak.

John 14:21, 23-24, Lamsa
21 He who has my commandments with him and obeys them, he is the one who loves me; he who loves me will be loved by my Father, and I will love him, and reveal myself to him.
23 Jesus answered and said to him, He who loves me, keeps my word; and my Father will love him, and we will come to him, and make a place of abode with him.
24 But he who does not love me, does not keep my word; and this word which you hear, is not mine own, but the Father’s who sent me.

Key to Heaven

According to the verses above believing obeying and loving Christ is the key to heaven that’s why Christ said that No man will be able to come to God the Father except through Him.

John 14:6 Lamsa
6 Jesus said to him, I am the way, and the truth, and the life; no man comes to my Father except by me.

Christ Recognition on Earth is Admission to Heaven

Places that Saints Will Explore in the Future

1. Paradise

Be in Paradise and eat the the tree of life’s fruit in paradise

The man who was crucified with Christ worshiped Christ because he believed that  Christ was blameless, (Luke 23:41) had feared to disrespect Christ (Luke 23:40), and believed that Christ will resurrect and reign as he said ‘ Remember me, my Lord, when you come in your kingdom’ (Luke 23:42)

Luke 23:39, 40-43 Lamsa
39 Now one of the malefactors who were crucified with him, blasphemed against him, saying, If you are the Christ, save yourself and save us also.

Revelation 2:7, Lamsa
7 He who has ears, let him hear what the Spirit says unto the churches: To him who overcomes, I will give to eat of the tree of life, which is in the midst of the paradise of my God.

According to Genesis 3:22-24 the Garden of Eden was not destroyed but was protected by placing Cherubims on its East side to prevent anyone from accessing the tree of life, and in Revelation the tree of life is still mentioned, Tree of life is in the Garden of Eden, which indicates that Garden of Eden is still exiting, and will exist even in the future.

2. Under the golden altar

To understand how the throne of God and the golden altar are positioned in heaven read Revelation 4.

In Revelation 6:9, the author said that the souls of the genuine believers were under the altar. Notice that it mentioned the soul not the body, because at this time, the body is still buried in the ground because rapture has not yet happened. When Christ come for the second time to separate the genuine believers from the so-called believers, and unbelievers, the dead will resurrect and we will have a glorified bodies, and the rapture will happen because those who resurrected will be caught up in the air with Christ and his angels. (Thessa VERSE VERSE VERSE)

Earlier parts of Revelation mentioned that the souls of the saints are under the altar.

Revelation 6:9-11 Lamsa
9 And when he had opened the fifth seal, I saw under the altar the souls of those who had been slain for the sake of the word of God and for the testimony of the Lamb which they had: 10And they cried with a loud voice saying, How long, O LORD, holy and true, do you not judge and avenge our blood on those who dwell on the earth? 11And a white robe was given to every one of them; and it was said to them, that they should rest yet for a little while, until the time should be fulfilled when their fellowservants and their brethren should be killed also as they had been.

Where is this altar located?

The altar is not on earth it is in heaven (Revelation 8:4). The saints were under the altar and their prayers goes upon the golden altar which was before the throne. (Revelation 8:3)

Revelation 8:3-5, Lamsa
3And another angel came and stood at the altar, and he had a golden censer; and abundant incense was given to him, that he might offer it with the prayers of all saints upon the golden altar which was before the throne.
4 And the smoke of the incense which came with the prayers of the saints, ascended up before God out of the angel’s hand.
5 And the angel took the censer, and filled it with fire of the altar, and cast it upon the earth: and there were voices and thunderings and lightnings, and an earthquake.

Revelation 5:7-10, Lamsa
7 And he came and took the book from the right hand of him who sat upon the throne.
8And as he took the book, the four wild beasts and the four and twenty elders fell down before the Lamb, and everyone of them had a harp and a cup of gold full of incense, and these were the prayers of the saints.
9And they sang new praise saying. You are worthy to take the book, and to open the seals thereof; for you were slain, and have redeemed us to God by your blood, out of every tribe, and tongue, and people, and nation;
10And have made them to our God kings and priests: and they shall reign on the earth.

3. On the sea of glass – before the throne

In the middle part of the revelation the saints are on the sea of glass in heaven.

Revelation 15:1-2, 5-8 Lamsa
“1 And I saw another sign in heaven, great and marvelous, seven angels having the seven last plagues; for in them is fulfilled the wrath of God.
2And I saw as it were a sea of glass mingled with fire: and those who were victorious over the beast, and over his image, and over the number of his name, were standing on the sea of glass, and had the harps of God.

5 And after these things, I looked, and behold the temple of the tabernacle of the testimony in heaven was opened:
6And the seven angels, having the seven plagues, came out of the temple, clothed in pure and fine linen, and having their breast girded with golden girdles.
7And one of the four beasts gave to the seven angels seven golden vials, full of the wrath of God who lives for ever and ever.
8 And the temple was filled with smoke from the glory of God and from his power; and no man was able to enter into the temple, until the seven plagues of the seven angels were fulfilled.

Sing

Saints of God will praise God through singing.

Singing in heaven

Revelation 14:2-5, Lamsa
2 Then I heard a voice from heaven, as the sound of many waters, and as the sound of a great thunder: and the voice I heard was as the music of many harpists playing on their harps:
3 And they sang a new song before the throne, and before the four beasts and the elders: and no man was able to learn that song, except the hundred forty and four thousand who were redeemed from the earth.
4 These are those who were not defiled with women for they are virgins. These are those who follow the Lamb wheresoever he goes. These were redeemed by Jesus, from among men, to be the first fruits to God and to the Lamb.
5 And in their mouth was found no deceit: for they are without fault.

Sing before the seven last plagues

Revelation 15:1-4, Lamsa
1 And I saw another sign in heaven, great and marvelous, seven angels having the seven last plagues; for in them is fulfilled the wrath of God.
2 And I saw as it were a sea of glass mingled with fire: and those who were victorious over the beast, and over his image, and over the number of his name, were standing on the sea of glass, and had the harps of God.
3 And they were singing the song of Moses the servant of God, and the song of the Lamb, saying, Great and marvelous are your works, LORD God Almighty; just and true are your ways, O King of ages.
4 Who shall not fear you, O LORD, and glorify your name? For you only are holy: All nations shall come and worship before you; for your righteousness has been revealed.

4. Stand before the judgment seat of Christ

Our works will be judged – Give account to God and rewarded

14 And the builder whose work survives shall receive his reward.
15 And the one whose work shall be burned, he shall suffer loss: but he himself shall be rescued, even as one who has been saved from the fire.”

Matthew 12:36-37, Lamsa
“36 For I say to you, that for every foolish word which men speak, they will have to answer for it on the day of judgment.
37 For by your words you shall be justified, and by your words you shall be found guilty.

Revelation 20:12-15, Lamsa
“12 Then I saw the dead, small and great, stand before the throne; and the books were opened: and another book was opened, which is the book of life: and the dead were judged by those things which were written in the books, according to their works.
13 And the sea gave up the dead which were in it; and death and hell gave up the dead which were in them: and they were judged every man according to his works.
14 And death and Sheol were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death, which is the burning fire.
15 And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire.

Revelation 22:8-9, Lamsa
8And I, John, who heard and saw these things, when I had heard and seen them, I fell down to worship before the feet of the angel who showed me these things.

6. New Heaven, New Earth, New Jerusalem

a. Entering the New City’s (New Jerusalem) gate

In the Future, servants of God will dwell in the New Earth and New Jerusalem that God is reserving for his believers. (Read Revelation 21 and 22 to know more) However, not all can enter it.

Revelation 22:13, Lamsa
14 Blessed are those who do his commandments, that they may have the right to the tree of life, and may enter in through the gates into the city.

The paradise may not be inside the New Jerusalem. The paradise is where the tree of life is (Read Genesis 2:9). According to Genesis 3:22-24 the tree of life in the Garden of Eden was protected by placing Cherubims on its East side. Notice that the grammar used in Revelation 22:13. it did not say “in the” (i.e. tree of life in the city), but it used “and may” meaning you saints can eat the tree of life’s fruit AND enter the city.

b. Walk on the light

25And the gates of it shall not be barred by day: for there is no night there.
26And they shall bring the glory and the honor of the people into it.
27 And there shall not enter into it anything which defiles, nor he who works abominations and lies; only those shall enter whose names are written in the Lamb’s book of life.
